We are fortunate that the Southern African bio-mass has been extremely well managed. In fact the shrimp and lobster biomass is one of the only sectors world wide that is on the increase rather than decreasing. NGO’s are also very active and the South African Marine and Coastal management department is seen to be the leader in our area. Both Namibia and Mozambique take their decisions based on input from the South African Fisheries authorities.
